‍Prof. Martin Lanzendorf is a professor for Mobility Research in the Department of Human Geography at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, since 2008. Before, he worked at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, Utrecht University (Netherlands), Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Leipzig University and LMU Munich. His key research interests are transdisciplinary projects related to the socio-ecological transformation of the mobility system (e.g. related to travel behaviour change, daily travel practices and governance processes).

Transform-R: The socio-ecological transformation of the energy and mobility system in the region FrankfurtRheinMain

Transform-R aims to foster the transformation of the energy and mobility system in the metropolitan region FrankfurRheinMain. Key objectives are (1) to co-design social innovations in four urban living labs together with local citizens and stakeholders, and (2) to transfer transformative knowledge to the region.

Mobility Benefit Districts. Travel and liveability impacts, acceptability and governance of new tools for accelerating transitions in the 15min city (MBD15)

Mobility Benefit Districts (MBD) are areas where the local authority uses the revenues from car parking for funding mobility services. Moreover, the residents in these areas participate in selecting the services. MBD15 analyses existing learning cases in Austria, Germany and Sweden, and draws conclusions for the implementation of the concept in other areas.
