Personal Profile

Since March 2024, Mathias Krams has been working as a project coordinator in the BMBF project Transform-R – Shaping the Energy and Mobility Transition as a Social-Ecological Transformation in the FrankfurtRheinMain Region as part of the team at the Frankfurt Lab for Social-Ecological Transformation of Urban Mobility. Most recently, he completed his PhD at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Vienna on the metagovernance of urban mobility at the EU level. His research focuses on the geographies of urban inequality in the context of the mobility transition, as well as on the role of power in the social-ecological transformation of the transport sector from the perspective of critical policy research.
